This Time It's Different 😅

Short and sweet this morning with a lot to do on the tape.

I feel like I need to remind people that we are still in a bear market. What do bear markets do? Bounce. What do they do next? Rip your face off aka liquidate you leveraged long bull dogs.

We are likely to see some bouncing this week and really what it’s giving you is not a signal that the bear market is over, no, it’s a gift. A short sellers gift. So get yourself back to bonds, cash, stable coins, whatever your safety vehicle of choice is and if you live dangerously then move some assets to short the good stuff: crypto, tech, small caps, large caps, pretty much all of it is disgusting right now.

Please, please, please do not get lulled back in again with the VIX below 30 that’s when the hedgies put ‘em back on and get long again. SPX contracts are catching bids and really you want to take the other side of that trade.
